pytest-metadata version 2.0.2 has a bug where it tries to access
py.__version__, but the py library version 1.11.0
removed the __version__ attribute. This is a known incompatibility.

The generated file "config.status" contains WORKDIR paths in strings
literal split across multiple lines, like:
S["foo"]="/path/to/work"\
"dir/"
These line splits prevent the usual sed from working properly.
Make a first pass on the file to undo any line split.
Fixes this error (that may happen depending on TOPDIR path length):

The application does use tags and version, but their versioning patterns
are all over the place. I kept the eisting PV declaration due to this (and
because this seems to be the very last upsteam change - the repository
looks abandoned).
Changelog:
* Fix ``keybinder_bind`` and others to not crash on non-X11 displays.
It simply returns FALSE, failing to bind the key.
* Add new API:
gboolean keybinder_supported()
Return TRUE if on key bindings are implemented for this
configuration. (Right now: only TRUE if gtk says there's an X11
display)
* Fix deprecated directives in build system
