Although this plugin has not yet been ported to py3 it is available in py2. The previous commit isn't clear about what is being addressed but I assume it is: nothing provides python3-twisted-news needed by python3-twisted-17.9.0-r0.corei7_64 For py2 this package is valid and so we should maintain the RDEPENDS, restore this RDEPENDS for py2. meta-python
================================
Introduction
-------------------------
This layer is intended to be the home of python modules for OpenEmbedded.
Modules in this layer need to be independent of openembedded-core and
meta-openembedded/meta-oe. Because of this, modules required by 'gateone'
and 'anki' are not included and remain in:
meta-openembedded/meta-oe/recipes-devtools/python.
Dependencies
-------------------------
The meta-python layer depends on:
URI: git://git.openembedded.org/openembedded-core
layers: meta
branch: rocko
revision: HEAD
URI: git://git.openembedded.org/meta-openembedded
layers: meta-oe
branch: rocko
revision: HEAD
Please follow the recommended setup procedures of your OE distribution.
For Angstrom that is:
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/building-angstrom,
other distros should have similar online resources.
