Customize HOST_CFLAGS, HOST_CXXFLAGS and HOST_LDFLAGS to fix do_configure error as previously use the common CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS in both cross-compile env and host env, and the option -fstack-protector-strong which not recognized in host env can result in do_configure error as below. | checking whether the host c compiler (gcc -O2 -pipe -g -fstack-protector-strong -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--hash-style=gnu -Wl,--as-needed -fstack-protector-strong -Wl,-z,relro,-z,now) works... configure: error: installation or configuration problem: host compiler gcc cannot create executables. When sending single patches, please use something like:
'git send-email -M -1 --to openembedded-devel@lists.openembedded.org --subject-prefix=meta-oe][PATCH'
You are encouraged to fork the mirror on github https://github.com/openembedded/meta-oe/ to share your patches, this is preferred for patch sets consisting of more than one patch. Other services like gitorious, repo.or.cz or self hosted setups are of course accepted as well, 'git fetch <remote>' works the same on all of them. We recommend github because it is free, easy to use, has been proven to be reliable and has a really good web GUI.
