3.17 has problems with: a) CONFIG_USB_WACOM -> CONFIG_HID_WACOM b) The wacom driver no longer working with qemu c) The USB stack being missing on arm and ppc and these are just the issues we know about. Switch back to 3.14 until 3.17 is fixed. This reverts commit 6a56492f3ae5e2a7e4d5b80169710a0eab87c0e2.
