Steve Sakoman e2aa712775 asciidoc: properly detect and compare Python versions >= 3.10 ...

asciidoc.py cannot properly detect versions of Python >= 3.10

Backport patch from upstream to correct this:

44d2d60952

Fixed upstream in version 9.04, so this patch is not required in master.
